Orphanet
Epilepsy is a very common neurological disorder, but there are many different types of epilepsy. Individually, a large number of epilepsy disorders are classified as rare diseases. A rare disease is one that affects a small number of people compared to the general population. Orphanet is a web-based portal for all audiences that provides information on more than 5,000 rare diseases, including many different types of epilepsy.
